The new FlowPro Switch (Remote Downstream Injector) is comprised of several key components, each contributing to its overall functionality and efficiency.
At the heart of the system is the 3-way ball valve, which is engineered for reliability and longevity. The valve is constructed from polypropylene, featuring a Makroblend® ball that ensures smooth operation and resistance to wear. To complement this, Viton™ seals are employed to offer superior sealing capabilities and chemical resistance, ensuring that the valve operates effectively in various environments. Additionally, Kynar 90° elbows are incorporated for their chemical resistance and mechanical strength, making the system robust. The valve is a popular off-the-shelf component, which simplifies maintenance and repair processes by ensuring replacement parts are readily available.
The actuator is another critical component, boasting an IP67 rating that signifies its dust-tight design and protection against the effects of immersion in water, making it suitable for challenging conditions. It also features a manual override function, which allows operators to control the valve manually in the event of a power failure. The absence of connectors in the system design simplifies installation and reduces potential failure points, enhancing the system's reliability.
The remote system is designed with user convenience in mind, offering a range of up to 1000 feet. This extensive range ensures that operators can control chemical application from a distance, increasing flexibility and efficiency in operations. The system provides audible feedback, enabling operators to confirm commands even when out of visual range of the trailer. Additionally, it comes with two remotes, ensuring that backup control is always within reach.

One year warranty on actuator and control box. Ball valve and remote transmitters are considered wearable items and their life span varies by use and care. These items are covered for 60 days.
